The UIC College of Nursing considers it a priority to assist students with  job search preparation, professional development and networking. Some of the services offered are:

Mock interviews with nurse managers/recruiters

Offered: Fall and spring semesters

Students have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with nurse managers and HR recruiters from local hospitals. Last year, mock interviewers came from:

HR recruiters provide detailed explanations, as well step-by-step processes, for creating an effective resume.

One-on-one resume editing

Students can meet with the assistant director of student affairs, who will review and give presonalized feedback on resume and cover letters.
