Mandatory Student Compliance
Welcome to your comprehensive guide for completing compliance requirements
Overview of requirements
The UIC College of Nursing requires all students to meet college compliance standards established in our guidelines.
Requirements include immunizations, annual vaccines and/or tests, routine AHA CPR basic life support training, and more. Students enrolled in a clinical practicum will be required, by the medical facility they participate in, to also complete that facility’s set of compliance requirements. CastleBranch is the primary platform used to track and report student compliance requirements for the College of Nursing.
Deadlines established by CastleBranch must be met at all times, both prior to and during enrollment.
All students must complete their compliance requirements prior to registering for classes. Students who fail to meet ongoing deadlines will be restricted from their clinical classes and a “compliance hold” will be applied to their account.
Compliance deadline for fall admission: July 15
