Presented by UCAN, the training focuses on the impact trauma has on human development as well as brain development. Participants will become familiar with the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACES) and the importance of developing resilience. This presentation will introduce the concept of using a universal precautions approach when delivering human services as well as basic guidelines for programs to implement a trauma informed approach to their work.
