Inform health care providers about the main health issues, barriers to health care, and current health care system within both an adult and juvenile
correctional setting and during post-release transition.
Target Audience: Staff Nurses, APRNs, other health care professionals
Objectives:
- Describe systems science role in patient safety efforts
- Define key team science terms, including communication and psychological safety
- Identify high quality communication practices
- Describe strategies to improve team-based communication that will be incorporated into practice.
