“Translating Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Science into Clinical Practice”

Speaker:

Ellen E. Goldstein, MTF, PhD, Assistant Professor, Population Health Nursing Science, UIC College of Nursing

Dr. Goldstein will discuss her research and will share key findings from three studies which she conducted examining patients' comfort talking with their providers about ACEs, medical students' perceptions about the importance of trauma-informed training, and how clinicians can make ACEs-related information meaningful for patients and their health outcomes.
