Objectives include:
- Reconnect to our mission, vision and purpose as Healthcare Professionals
- Witness a LIVE case study via client interview and learn about their experience in Opioid Use Disorders Treatment, working with treatment professionals and how they utilize lessons learned to sustain their recovery
- Q & A session with client
- Discuss treatment topics related to client experience and best practices
Attendees will leave with an enhanced knowledge on Opioid Use Disorders and Opioid Treatment from a patient perspective that they can continue to build upon in their professional development.
Zoom will be available for regional campuses ONLY.
Refreshments provided across regional campuses at the College of Nursing buildings. Regions must RSVP with the number of attendees by Feb. 5.
All are welcome. Attendance is required for all Chicago BSN students. This does not apply to RN-BSN online students, although they are encouraged to participate. Chicago BSN students who are unable to attend for any reason will be given an alternative assignment as set forth by the director of the baccalaureate and master's programs, Maripat King.
