Wirampa Tanglai’s research focuses on the interactions among physical activity, nutrition, stress, symptom experience, and health-related quality of life in patients with end-stage renal disease. Drawing on the Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms (TOUS) and secondary data sources such as NHANES, she seeks to clarify how lifestyle and clinical factors influence physical activity, behavioral risk factors, laboratory outcomes, and overall well-being in relation to cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension and diabetic kidney disease. She received her Bachelor of Nursing Science from the Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing, a Master of Nursing Science from Curtin University in Australia, and a Master of Primary Health Care Management (International Program) from Mahidol University in Thailand. Her long-term goal is to advance culturally relevant interventions and leverage digital health strategies to promote active lifestyles and reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease and kidney-related complications.
