Make an immediate impact

There are many ways to support the UIC College of Nursing, including but not limited to cash gifts made online or by mail.

Retirement fund assets are a popular way to make a charitable donation.

An IRA qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows those over 70½ years old to give any amount (up to a specified maximum) from your IRA directly to benefit the College of Nursing without having to pay income taxes on the money.

Contributing from your donor-advised fund or donating appreciated securities or mutual funds are also smart giving options to explore.

Leave a legacy

The UIC College of Nursing is continually strengthened by the generosity of our dedicated alumni and friends. As you reflect upon your goals and consider your legacy, making a planned gift part of your estate plan can have a considerable impact on future generations.

Thoughtful planning of charitable intentions create opportunities to change lives each day. Beneficiary designations of your IRAs, life insurance policies and donor‑advised funds, along with naming the college in your will or living trust, are charitable gift-planning strategies that allow you to create your own personal legacy.
