Introduction
The University of Illinois Chicago is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The college's baccalaureate and graduate-entry programs are also approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
The nurse-midwifery program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education through January 2032.
The nurse anesthesia program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)
The College of Nursing holds membership in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
