Advancing Racial Equity (ARE) by department Heading link
UIC’s Advancing Racial Equity initiative is a response designed to address the institutional and structural racism that impacts our campus and our neighboring communities. A team of individuals across campus, including UIC’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Engagement and Office of the Dean of Students, created a template so that all units can develop a plan to Advance Racial Equity (ARE). This template will assist units in creating their vision for advancing racial equity within their area.
