Learners will understand the scope of the problem of depression among teens and identify three actions that can be taken to help depressed teens in their work.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the factors contributing to the national crisis of depression among teens.
- Describe what depression looks like in teens and ways we can assess for symptoms across community and clinical environments.
- Synthesize current literature on how we can best treat depression in teens.
- Propose actions learners can take today to help teens with depression to heal.
