The College of Nursing provides continuing education support for all nursing departments and faculty which includes the Chicago main campus, and regional sites in Peoria, Quad Cities, Rockford, Urbana-Champaign, and Springfield. The Office of Faculty Practice and Partnerships supports the College of Nursing’s mission and vision by developing nurses from diverse circumstances into leaders through continuing education. Our goal is to support faculty when creating professional development opportunities that enhance the learning experience here at UIC College of Nursing.

Interested in becoming a nurse planner? Heading link
The College of Nursing has an Accredited Provider Program Director, who works with faculty to provide contact hours for continuing education events. UIC College of Nursing also provides the opportunity for faculty and staff to become Nurse Planners, who can plan, implement, and evaluate a continuing education event. Topics for a continuing nurse education event include nursing leadership, clinical and practice-related, nursing skills, and relevant book clubs related to health ethics and nursing history. Continuing Education is a tool to help enrich and deepen our academic relationship with faculty, students, alumni, and nurses nationwide.
Educational offerings include in-person activities, virtual live and enduring material, and symposiums.
