Presenter

Hongjin Li, PhD, MS, BSN, University of Illinois Chicago

Dr. Li is a Postdoctoral Fellow at UIC College of Nursing. She earned her BSN from the University of Missouri-St, Louis, MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University and PhD from University of Pittsburgh. Li's research seeks to use omics tools (i.e., genomics, metabolomics) to better understand psychoneurological symptoms and the effect of acupuncture among cancer survivors. She has published articles on symptom clusters, quality of life, metabolomics and the biological underpinnings of symptoms. She is a recipient of the American Cancer Society's Doctoral Degree Scholarship, Sigma Theta Tau International-Eta Chapter's research award and the Heilbrunn research award from Rockefeller University. Li is a member of the Midwest Nursing Research Society, Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau International.
