The Equity & Inclusion Committee invites you to the next  installment of its Fall 2021 virtual Meet & Learn series.

Topic

"Microaggression Experiences, UIC Response, and Implementation in Clinical Settings"

Presenter:

UIC College of Nursing Microaggressions Taskforce

Learning Outcome:

  1. Identify examples and negative effects of microaggressions experienced by students.
  2. Describe key characteristics of UIC Nursing microaggression guidelines for use in clinical settings.
  3. Identify implementation strategies for use of guidelines in clinical settings.

We plan to offer 1.75 Continuing Nursing Education Hours for this activity. Criteria for successful completion: Participants must complete the entire activity and submit a post activity evaluation on Survey Monkey (the link will be provided) in order to receive continuing nursing education contact hours. Contact hours for this activity will not be available after 5/17/2022
