Learn more about scientific writing during this Meet and Learn event, "Writing the journal manuscript: who, what, why, and where." This event would be of special interest to students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty

- Center the experience of reading journal articles in your writing process
- Practice naming the audience for your research and identifying what those readers will need and use
- Understand IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion)
- Explore strategies for writing a first draft of each section of IMRAD
