Fetal Cardiology: Understanding fetal circulation, when to refer, and the delivery workflow.
Learning Objectives:
- Differentiate between normal circulation and fetal circulation of the heart.
- Identify which patients with congenital heart disease get referred to a tertiary Maternal fetal health center and explain the triage process.
- Describe the education provided to patients and families regarding delivery planning and postnatal care.
- Discuss the differences between acute and non-acute diagnoses.
- Examine the Code Rainbow Workflow (high risk delivery transfers).
