RNs are often at the front lines of recognizing risk factors, patterns, and signs of medical ailments. The purpose of this education is to ensure RNs feel empowered and educated to comprehensively participate in the identification, notification, and treatment of a stroke, whether hemorrhagic or ischemic.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify risk factors for stroke Ischemic (I) + Hemorrhagic (H)
  • Identify common Etiologies of stroke (I + H)
  • Identify signs/symptoms of stroke (I + H)
  • Identify emergency nursing interventions (I + H)

Participants will receive 1.0 contact hour for attending 100% of activity and completing an evaluation.
