Microaggression Effects on Nurses and Student Nurses: Strategies to Promote Equity Inclusion and Resilience in Education and Practice

Objectives:
- Recognize the scope and impact of how microaggressions may affect a nurse's or student nurse's professional development and sense of moral distress;
- Describe strategies for addressing microaggression incidents at the time of the microaggression; and
- Identify strategies for resolving microaggression incidents and post-microaggression follow-up.
