- Passing all courses with a C or better
Reasons for termination of scholarship funds include:
- Withdrawing/dropping a course
- Failing a course
- Taking a leave of absence
- Receiving a Performance Improvement Plan for reasons including:
- Violating university policy on academic integrity (e.g., cheating, plagiarism, unauthorized assistance on an assignment/test)
- Violating professional codes of conduct

Any student who decelerates from the program due to academic failure may reapply for the scholarship once they have successfully met criteria to enroll in full-time classes. Students are eligible to receive the scholarship for two academic years while at the Springfield campus of the UIC College of Nursing.
