CE-eligible training shares expertise in correctional health

Correctional health experts in the UIC College of Nursing have produced an introductory training for any practitioner interested in correctional health. Delivered in three modules, the training will allow practitioners to deepen their knowledge and understanding of topics pertinent to health education, services and advocacy within the correctional system.

Nurses can earn one (1) CNE credit per module at no cost through July 2020.

Creation of the training was one piece of a grant from the Rita and Alex Hillman Foundation, one of the nation’s leading philanthropies dedicated to advancing health through nursing.
