Nurse Managers Panel benefits students at UIC Nursing
Nurse managers shared advice with students on job search strategies and how to succeed in the field. The event took place at the UIC College of Nursing on Monday, April 10th.
Featured guests included: David Barishman (Dir. of Patient Care Services, Clinical Decision Unit, UI Health), Amanda Cody (Patient Care Mgr, Mother-Baby, Northwestern), Jamie Pikus Ghafari (Dir. of Patient Care Services, Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care, UI Health) and Gail Tagney (Dir. of Patient Care Services, MICU and Telemetry/Stepdown, UI Health).
Three of the panelists are also UIC CON alumni: Barishman BSN '94, Ghafari MS '11 and Tagney BSN '80.
