Two faculty members selected as fellows in the Institute of Medicine at Chicago

UIC College of Nursing associate professors Crystal Patil, PhD, and Patricia Hershberger, PhD, RN, FNP, FAAN, were selected as fellows in the Institute of Medicine of Chicago, an independent organization of distinguished leaders in the health field.
The institute draws upon the expertise of its diverse members and fellows to address critical health issues through education, research, communication and community engagement.
Patil and Hershberger will be honored at the institute’s annual meeting on Thursday, June 27. U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams will be the featured guest speaker.
