About
My research work focuses on infertility, third party reproduction, and traumatic birth experiences. My work is informed by social justice and reproductive justice frameworks. Along with my research work, I have extensive clinical experience as a full-scope midwife working in mostly underserved communities in Chicago.
I completed my BSN at Loyola University Chicago. I then received my MSN and my PhD at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have taught in the BSN, graduate entry, and DNP programs at UIC since 2014.
