About
My name is Leonard "Lenny" Gilbert. I am currently a Visiting Teaching Associate in the Department of Population Health Nursing Sciences. I am a UIC graduate and have been a nurse for 30 years. I have my masters in nursing education, and I am currently completing my PMHNP with a graduation date of May 2024. I am a 38-year retired veteran of the Chicago Fire Department, and my passion is mental health care, education, and emergency medicine.
