About
I am a health care professional with years of experience working in acute care and nursing education. I teach prelicensure, undergraduate nursing students, RN-BSN students, and graduate nursing students. As a nurse educator, I focus on active learning strategies and student engagement. My specialty is: Geriatric Nursing. As a nurse scientist my focus of research is in geriatrics. My goal is to ignite interest in geriatric nursing and to raise awareness of challenges faced by informal caregivers.
