Currently, Jonathan works as the co-project manager for the NIH funded UH3 Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Trial of Guided Relaxation and Acupuncture for Chronic Sickle Cell Disease Pain (GRACE). The GRACE trial is a pragmatic study at three large hospital health systems (UIC/UI Health, Duke University, and University of Florida) that will study guided relaxation and acupuncture for individuals diagnosed with sickle cell disease. Additionally, he is a PhD candidate in the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics at UIC in the College of Applied Health Sciences.
