Dr. Bergren has a Doctorate in Nursing Science, is a nationally certified school nurse and is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, National Association of School Nurses and the American School Health Association. Her areas of expertise include leadership, population health, school nurse sensitive outcome indicators, and informatics. She is the Director of Advanced Population Health, Health Systems Leadership and Informatics at the University of Illinois-Chicago where her scholarship focuses on the collection and dissemination of data that supports child health in the school setting.
