About
I am Compliance Officer for the College of Nursing and support all activities for student, faculty, and staff compliance. I also oversee contract execution for our clinical placement programs across the region. My background in public health began in 2008 when I collaborated with Navajo uranium miners to document the legacy of uranium extraction across the Four Corners region of the southwestern United States. In 2015, I received the COMEXUS Garcia Robles Fulbright Awarded to Mexico to research the social impacts of factory labor along the U.S.-Mexico border. Through my experience in public health and artmaking I began a Project Managment role in San Bernardino County, California in 2020 to assist in the develop of a pilot arts program benefiting people living with mental health differences. I am a recent transplant to the Midwest.
