About
Eileen is a Teaching Assistant Professor and the Director of the School Nurse Certificate Program at the University of Illinois Chicago. Her nursing education includes a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Purdue University, a Master of Science degree with a concentration of school/advanced community health nurse specialist from University of Illinois Chicago, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Illinois Chicago in 2019, specializing in population health.
Eileen’s clinical background includes experience in staff and administrative roles nursing in acute care, ambulatory care, and home care. Eileen worked for 20 years in an administrative role in school nursing, specializing in coordinating care for students with complex medical needs and developmental delays.
