About
Pamela J. Gampetro earned her PhD at Loyola University Chicago. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has practiced in the pediatric population for most of her professional career. Dr. Gampetro is interested in improving patient care, and in particular pediatric care in the U.S. by creating an understanding of what aspects of an organization’s safety culture contribute to poor outcomes from the perspective of care professionals. Through such research, the positive aspects of hospitals’ safety culture can be identified and shared with the intent of building interprofessional practices that support excellence in patient care.
