UI Health Wellness Clinic at UIC College of Dentistry
The College of Nursing partners with UIC’s College of Dentistry to provide weekly onsite history and physical services to pediatric patients scheduled for dental procedures requiring anesthesia. This nurse practitioner-led service removes barriers to care for dental patients, with 1,500 visits completed since the clinic opened in Spring 2021. This clinic also is a training site for UIC nurse practitioner students.
