Mandatory Student Compliance
Welcome to your comprehensive guide for Mandatory Student Compliance!
The UIC College of Nursing requires all students to meet college compliance standards established in our guidelines.
Requirements include immunizations, annual vaccines and/or tests, and routine AHA CPR basic life support training. Students enrolled in clinical practicum will be required, by the medical facility they participate in, to complete their own set of compliance requirements. CastleBranch is the primary platform used to track and report student compliance requirements for the College of Nursing.
Deadlines established by CastleBranch must be met at all times, both prior to and during enrollment.
What is compliance?
All students must complete their compliance requirements prior to registering for classes. Students who fail to meet ongoing deadlines will be restricted from their clinical classes and a “compliance hold” will be applied to their account.
Compliance deadline for fall 2025 admission: July 15
