Policy and Regulation of the Nursing Profession

Through this continuing nursing education course, participants will be able to identify legislation, regulation and/or policies being considered or recently passed in Springfield, and how their involvement or lack of involvement impacts outcomes for the profession.
Additionally, participants will be able to:
- Identify two regulations or policies debated in Springfield;
- Discuss why it is important to be an advocate for policy change; and
- Describe how engaging in policy shapes the profession and healthcare in general.
