Speakers:
- Ellen Goldstein, PhD, MFT, Department of Human Development Nursing Science, College of Nursing, University of Illinois Chicago
- Annie Lewis-O'Connor, PhD, NP- BC, MPH, FAAN, Department of Nursing & Division of Women's Health, Brigham and Women's Hospital
Target Audience:
- Staff nurses, APRNs and other healthcare professionals
Objectives:
- Describe trauma prevalence.
- Recognize signs of trauma impact on mental and physical health.
- Apply trauma-informed principles in practice, policy and procedures.
- List tools to resist and avoid retraumatization.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
